Take It Easy

        " Take it Easy " it's not just a sentence. It is one of the wonders of nature that rest is given to so many of its creatures as a stimulus to achievement.

       Time taken for rest and relaxation is not time wasted. After a period of rest the lowly caterpillar is transformed into a beautiful butterfly. The rose plant  after its rest blooms profusely and liberally scents the atmosphere with its fregrance. The farmer who let's his soil rest for a season is rewarded with a greater and better production the next season.

        Many of the physical and mental strains of the human family disappear with the night, for after a night's rest we come forth with renewed energy and fresh determination to win.

        Life in this world is so beset with difficulties that even normal people with good mental and physical health often get tired of life itself. Mental and physical relaxation is very necessary for a happy and prosperous life. If the mind is always at tension we can hardly live a normal life.

         We are not a machine. The capacity for thinking, willing and imagining makes us totally different from a machine or a beast. Our mind affects our body and our body affects our mind. Our moods change according to the conditions in which we finds ourselves. Fear and Anxiety always keep the mind tense. 

         As Elmer Wheeler advice to try hard and take it easy is not contradictory. You can only try your hardest when you do take it easy. In fact without relaxation it would be impossible to live. Relaxation is the most effcacious remedy for all difficulties.

         A relaxed man is happy , confident , not worried, hopeful. And these qualities are extremely necessary for a successful life. Relaxation helps us no matter whatever job we do, to do better and to feel better.
